About me

Hi! I am a 5th-year Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University, advised by Prof. Guha Balakrishnan. I am part of the Rice Visual Intelligence Group, and the Digital Health Institute, and I work closely with Prof. Ashok Veeraraghavan on the Walk-through Rendering from Images of Varying Altitude (WRIVA) project sponsored by the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity.

My research interests encompass computer vision and deep learning, with a focuses on generative video editing, 3D/4D scene reconstruction, and egocentric visual data.

Before joining Rice, I completed my B.S and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ewha Womans [sic] University. My master’s thesis concerned quality-adaptive compression artifact removal by exploiting domain adaptation, under the supervision of Prof. Jewon Kang. Outside of research and academia, I enjoy camping, hiking, and bouldering.
